A few years ago a customer with a bird tattoo stepped into my shop looking to buy a bird necklace that I designed.

I fell in love with her tattoo and with the way it naturally blended with the necklace, and since then I enjoy playing around searching for tattoos that look as if they’ve been inspired by my jewelry, and vice versa.

I love tattoos. Although I actually have only 1 of my own, I always play with the thought of adding another permanent decoration to my collection.

My husband, on the other hand, doesn’t only play around with his thoughts, and actually adds a new tattoo every couple of months to the impressive collection he already has.

Choosing your tattoo is a very binding decision, as it’s there to stay for years. When I try to choose one, I always worry that I’ll get bored of it at some point or that the decoration will not suit me or what I like in the future.
